Hello and Welcome!
Do you know what? I feel like I am sitting on a dirty little secret that most people don’t realize and the medical profession doesn’t want you to know. And that is that our bodies know how to heal. If you dedicate a little time each day to healing yourself, (who doesn’t want a little TLC each day), then you will live life more healthy and vibrant than ever before.
I’m Carolyn Harrington, a medical intuitive, energy healer, Holistic Health Practitioner and the co-Founder of Maty’s Healthy Products. As a manufacturer, I formulate all natural, whole food health products that I developed using my energy healing techniques. I also devote time to helping people solve the mysteries of their own health conditions. But I can’t reach everyone, so I started this blog and podcast to get the word out about everyday healing.
It takes a little time each day, that’s all. By paying attention to what your body is telling you, and addressing the little things, you can heal just about anything. And here is the reason why.
Your Health Is Never A Plateau!
Your health is on a continuum. It never plateaus because, on a daily basis, you are either doing things that improve your health or doing things that are detrimental to your health. If you learn to tune in to your body and take time each day to heal, you will continually improve your health and keep getting better. If you neglect yourself and don’t devote a bit of time each day to yourself, you will become more sick, even though you may not be aware of it. Think about it, when was the last time you asked your liver if it was happy?
There is never a moment in time when your body says, "I think I’m healthy enough, I will stay like this." The things that happen to you, or the environment you’re exposed to each day, good or bad, make your health fluctuate on a daily basis.
And that is why everyone needs healing, every day!
Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff.
By healing a little each day, you keep your body in tip-top shape. The idea is that when you remedy the small stuff, it is harder for the serious disease to settle in.
Your body will talk to you in numerous ways. If you pay attention and listen, then take steps to correct what is wrong, your healing potential is tremendous.
Let’s take dandruff for instance. Sure you could get the commercial shampoos that cover up and stop the itch, and may even make it feel better. But your dandruff is telling you something. You may have a fungal infection below the scalp. If you quit trying to cover up the symptoms and try to get to the root of the problem, you will be able to heal the fungal infection before it graduates to a more severe condition. Would you want that fungal infection to spread to your liver, your brain, or your stomach?
By paying attention to the signals your body is telling you early on, your healing begins and hopefully won’t escalate to a more serious health condition
That’s why everyone needs healing, every day!
Why A Healing Blog And Podcast?
On my blog and podcast you will learn things like:
- how emotions are the key to healing anything. (And no one seems to be addressing this.)
- What barriers will halt your healing attempts dead in its tracks
- What techniques and methods I used to heal from my autoimmune disease. (because there were so many.)
- What healing modalities are out there for you to explore and try. (I love trying new things, so let me be the guinea pig and tell which worked for me and which didn’t.)
- Which are my go-to recipes for healing when I am feeling like I am falling into the rabbit hole of unhealthiness.
So sit back, relax and let’s begin exploring ways for you to heal. Because if you don’t start your healing journey now, chances are a severe health condition will smack you down the road which will be much harder to heal by then.
My Healing Journey
Life is a journey. We are here to experience things, many good and unfortunately, some bad. When you come to the point where you appreciate all experiences, the good with the bad, your healing journey will catapult to new levels from that moment forward.
That is what I came to realize after I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis many years ago. Looking back, it all seems part of a bigger plan. However, it didn’t feel that way as I was going through it.
My Rheumatoid Arthritis was the fork in the road for me. It changed my life, and the change was good. It started me on a journey that brought me to start a national health company that sells natural remedies to retail outlets all over the country. It also led me to become an energy healer, medical intuitive, and holistic health practitioner.
I wouldn’t have done any of this if I never had to start my healing journey 20+ years ago. By now, I am so appreciative of all the struggles I went through for myself and my daughter. But going through them at the time was frustrating, exhausting, and at times scary. Here is what happened.
We Had A Medical Mess On Our Hands
With two rambunctious little boys at home, ages 4 and 2, I was ecstatic to find out I was having a baby girl. But that drastically changed when she was born, and the nurse said, “Your daughter doesn’t look right to me.”
My daughter, Maty, was born with multiple severe congenital heart defects, no spleen, and a compromised immune system. She had three heart surgeries, one when she was two days old, and two subsequent open-heart surgeries when she was six months old and a month before her 5th birthday.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, three days after we brought her home, I was struck with agonizing back pain and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It was brutal each morning when it took me 15 minutes to get out of bed. And with three children and one on the way by this time, it was a hard time for us all to say the least.
We were a medical mess!
So as any mother would do, I took matters into my own hands. I started researching natural ways of healing, and it became my passion. I learned the importance of detoxing and ways to do it. I studied energy healing techniques and became certified in many of them. All this to help my baby girl live a healthy life and me gain my life back.
And it worked. I no longer live with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and my daughter Maty is soon to graduate from college. If you hadn't heard her story, you would never know the childhood she endured.
