“Emotion is energy in motion” – Peter McWilliams
Everything in our universe is energy. From things we touch and feel to the intangible thought forms that radiate around us. Our world is an entangled mesh of energy waves that move all around us. And these energy waves affect us as they permeate our bodies.
When we are sick, we are always trying to do something in our physical world to get better. We may try to eat better, complete a detox program, or take medication. But it’s the intangible, abstract form of energy which can play a crucial role in healing. It’s your emotions.
But how do our emotions impact our healing efforts? And what can we do to speed up the healing process?
Emotions and Your Healing
Emotions are described as an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced. We are equipped with a predictable set of reactions to certain situations. If someone hits you, you feel anger. If someone makes you laugh, you feel happy. Life is full of emotions, and they have an enormous impact on your healing.
Wouldn’t it be great if you only felt positive emotions all the time? If you felt joy, love, and happiness, I bet you would be healthy. But we don’t always feel so happy. We also experience negative emotions like hate, fear, guilt, and worry.
When you feel nurtured and loved, there is a better chance your healing will progress. But when you experience negative emotions like fear and worry, healing can become blocked.
If you’re not healing, a particular emotion could be blocking you.
Think of it this way. Your body is masterfully created and full of life and energy. It has a compelling ability for self-healing. It wants to be healthy and stay healthy. When you feel positive emotions, the energy flows freely through your body. But negative emotions can interrupt that energy flow. It’s like a black cloud hovering somewhere in your body.
Your body is smart. It knows negative emotions will be a drag on your system. So when you experience a negative emotion, your body will try to shove that bad energy somewhere else in your body. It doesn’t want the negative emotion to permeate your system and wreak havoc everywhere.
That’s how a negative emotion can block your healing efforts. It gets stuck somewhere in your body and obstructs the energy flow. Healing is blocked without you even knowing it.
I’ve seen this happen many times. Whenever I perform an energy evaluation, more often than not, there is an emotional element involved. You need to release your emotions if they are blocking you. When you release them, your healing can begin again. It’s like magic.
But how do you unblock negative emotions to speed up healing? There are many excellent ways to do this. Here are a few of my favorite methods to unblock negative emotions for healing.
Bach Flower Therapy
I love Bach Flowers. They are inexpensive, safe, and work so well. They subtly release negative emotions we have bottled up inside us.
Bach Flower Remedies are just water with an energy signature to them. When you take the water with the given energy frequency, it detoxes you of that particular emotion.
Bach Flower Remedies are made by placing various plants in water and leaving them in the sun. While they sit in the sun, the essence of the plant is released into the water. No chemical properties involved. It’s all about the energy.
That’s why they are so safe. If you take a Bach Flower Remedy, it can only help. It won’t ever hurt you because your body will ignore the energy if it doesn’t benefit from it.
With 38 original Bach Flowers you can select the best remedy for you. But it is more effective to do muscle testing to determine which one you need the most. No guessing involved!

Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Tapping is another of my favorite healing techniques. It can be a powerful healing tool. It is easy to perform, and anyone can do it. To get the most out of this technique, seek help from a Tapping professional. They can help you get to the root of your problem.
Nick Ortner, the New York Times Best-Selling Author on tapping, describes tapping as a combination of Ancient Chinese Acupressure and Modern Psychology.
Tapping releases energy that stagnates along your acupuncture meridians in your body. Just tap on 8 or 9 points while saying something about your feelings or situation. That’s it!
Even though it sounds simple, it can be powerful. With so many how-to-videos on Tapping, I encourage everyone to try it.
Acupuncture is an excellent way to release pent up emotional energy in our bodies. One of the oldest healing techniques known to man, it’s been around for thousands of years and still in use. It must be doing something! Seeking out a qualified professional is key to getting the best results.
There are many energy healing therapies which work well for releasing emotional energy.
Below is a list of some of the popular ones:
- Chakra Balancing
- Crystal Therapy
- Music Therapy
- Quantum Touch (Hands-on Healing)
- and many more
If you are in need of healing but aren’t seeing results, try an alternative technique. Or, if you suspect emotions are getting in the way pick a technique that sounds interesting to you.
