The Best Liver Gallbladder Flush To Try This Year

In Food As Medicine, Healing You by carolynh7 Comments

There are many things in life you can live without, but your liver is not one of them. It has two primary roles. The first is to regulate the amount of fats, sugar, and protein that enters your bloodstream. Its other crucial function is to filter out toxins from your bloodstream. With these two primary functions, it makes sense that to stay healthy; your liver needs to work properly.

Your liver is essentially a waste-purification system. If it gets backed up or dirty, it can’t filter out much, can it? Which means the next time you eat rich, fatty foods, or drink alcohol, your liver has to work overtime just to catch up.

Another side effect to a sluggish performing liver is you are more prone to developing allergies. Your immune system doesn’t want toxins floating around in your veins. The toxins stimulate an immune response which causes inflammatory chemicals such as histamine to be deposited into your system.

And finally, another condition that results from an unhealthy liver is the surge in gallbladder problems. It’s becoming more and more common for people to suffer from symptoms of gallstones like nausea, vomiting, stomachaches, and even pain in the shoulders. And the treatment doctors usually recommend is the removal of the gallbladder.

But the gallbladder is just a holding tank for bile. If the bile ducts are clogged with gallstones, the problem still exists. That is why it’s common for people to experience the same symptoms after their gallbladders are removed. They are told to avoid eating fatty foods even after surgery.

The problem is the bile ducts, not the bile holding tank. To clear the ducts of gallstones, a liver flush is just the thing.

As a side note, I would never tell anyone to go against their doctor’s advice and not have the surgery. What I recommend is you try the liver flush first while waiting for the surgery to be scheduled. Who knows, you may not need the surgery if you perform a few liver flushes.

That is the crux of our mission at The Art Of Healing. Where there is a safe, natural, self-care solution, why not try it to see if it works? I’m not guaranteeing anything, but many times that is all that is needed. If it works for you, then that is all that matters.

I have done many liver flushes in my time, and they are easy to do with a little discipline. Here are a few of my observations and suggestions:

  1. Be careful to eat light the few days before you attempt a flush. I made the mistake of eating a full steak dinner once the night before, and I suffered immensely for my lack of restraint.
  2. A liver flush can be hard on your system. When you see your body expelling gallstones, you may get so excited; you will want to do it again, and again. But slow down. It is recommended you wait two-three weeks before you attempt another flush. Give your system time to recoup and stabilize before you do more.
  3. You may not see many gallstones the first time you do your liver flush. That is okay. Gallstones can get deeply lodged within the ducts. Your first flush may only be pulling them closer to the exit point. By doing a subsequent flush, they may let loose and move out.
  4. Doing one or two liver flushes a year is an excellent way to keep your liver healthy and to working at optimal levels.

Are you ready to do a liver flush? First, you might want to ask yourself if you even need one.

My Favorite Liver Gallstone Flush

If it’s time for you to flush your liver, don’t stop at a cleanse, support your liver by making diet and lifestyle changes. Remember it’s important to keep it working at peak performance.

Here are the supplies you will need to complete this flush:

32 ounces of Apple Juice
4 tablespoons of Epsom Salts
½ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 big Grapefruit, or 3 Lemons

I could list all the steps required, but when I found this great article on how you can complete the liver gallbladder flush, I figured I would just link to it. It includes all kinds of information about the flush including images of what gallstones look like after they come out.

Good luck and happy flushing!

BONUS TIP:
When trying to rid your body of toxins, it would be useful to have an effective elimination channel available. A good way to help with the removal is to keep your lymphatic fluids flowing. One way to do this is by bouncing on a mini trampoline. Bouncing up and down is an effective way to move lymphatic toxins, which are evident with a lot of cellulite, recurring throat/tonsil issues, excessive muscle pains, swollen glands, etc. If you don’t have a trampoline, try bouncing on the edge of your bed. You could also walk at a brisk pace while swinging your arms and legs but the trampoline is more fun!

Hi Adriana, If you mean the grapefruit juice with the olive oil, then you drink it all at once. I hope this helps. -Carolyn

  2. Okay so what your saying is to drink the whole thing at once, right? Not over a few hour or days, and wait 2-3 weeks before you do this again. Do you need to avoid eating this day or can you eat ? Thank you!

    1. Author

Hi Jo, It is best to not eat much the day of the flush. You definitely do not want to eat any fats, like butter on your toast, or eggs. You stop eating anything at 2pm. The drink should be taken all at once if you are talking about the grapefruit juice with the olive oil. The epsom salt mixture is taken over a longer period.

      Hope this helps. – Carolyn

  3. Hi. Thank you for sharing. I did another cleanse about a week ago and a few stones came out. So I want to do this one in about another week. Is it normal for the liver/gallbladder area to be sore the day after? Is the enema necessary? Thank you.

Hi Lynda, I am not really sure if it is normal to be sore after a cleanse. I do know that many times when we put our bodies through a stressor like a cleanse, it can shake things up a bit and cause a bit of pain in different areas of the body. You may want to wait a little while before you try another cleanse to give your body time to adjust. I would say if it continues for more than a day or two, then you may want to seek a health care professional.
