Sleep issues are a very common problem many people face. And since getting the rest you need is a vital step in the healing process, I wanted to share two simple self-care tactics to help you sleep, so you wake up refreshed.

Hi, I’m Carolyn Harrington from The Art of Healing and today I want to talk to you about a very common problem that so many people have and it’s about trying to fall asleep or they may wake up in the middle of the night and they can’t fall back asleep.
Well, I’m of the mindset that if you can find something natural or some energy technique to use then why not try it. You can always do that first and if it doesn’t work then you go to the big guns to drugs that have all the side effects and drug interactions.
Well, today I’ve got two techniques that I’d like to share with you. The first one is a flower essence called Rescue Sleep.
Now if you’ve seen any other videos of mine, I love talking about flower essence because they’re so safe and they just have the essence of different plants in water. That’s it. So it’s all about the energy.
This one is a combination of different ones that just kind of calms the mind and so it helps you fall asleep and it’s in spray form, so easy is that? If you just leave it next to you on the bedside and when you can’t fall asleep just spray it in your mouth and then it should help you fall asleep. Or if you wake up in the middle of the night just grab it put some sprays in your mouth.
How easy is that? It does come in liquid form where you put the drops in water, you can do it that way too. But I find that the spray is really easy.
Another technique that I heard and I actually haven’t tried it myself but I recommended it to people and they love this idea. Using honey and salt. And this is a very high-quality Himalayan Salt or you can use the Sea Salt that has all those great trace minerals in it.
But what you do is you put some honey, and this is Buckwheat honey so at Maty’s Healthy Products we love Buckwheat Honey.Antioxidant-rich Buckwheat honey.
But you take some honey, put it on a spoon and then sprinkle some salt on it and then you just put it in your mouth. You kind of get that salty sweet taste so it’s pretty good. It tastes pretty good and you just take it by mouth that way. Or you can put it in a little glass of water and drink it too but that is also supposed to help you relax and get a peaceful night’s sleep.
