Just like everyone else, I am constantly looking for ways to not only simplify my life but also enhance my overall wellbeing. I found that even the smallest tweaks can leave me feeling more energetic and at peace. I am recently obsessing over some apps I found that not only will improve my overall wellness but can be useful if you want to heal.

“Apps?” You may be thinking. We use them to edit our pictures, make group communication more efficient, and easily access our daily agendas. But what if we could use apps to make us feel good mentally, physically, and emotionally? I found by using certain ones, they can impact your mind body and soul!

Below I listed 9 Apps that I believe will help you feel better and align your life, just as they have done mine:

1. Bright Nest– helps you tackle important tasks for your home while keeping your health and wellness in mind. It provides easy “how to’s,” such as: ways to use lemon at home and saving money by making laundry detergent.

2. Nightstand Central– the benefits of getting to sleep at a reasonable time for your health are endless. Nightstand was created to help you fall asleep without taking medicine or even a supplement. It has a lullaby feature (which includes; music, sounds, or vibrations) for those nights you cannot fall asleep; which includes a self-timer. It also wakes you up in the morning to personalized music or sounds.

3. Unstuck– Feeling stuck? Can’t stay motivated? Negative thoughts taking over your life? Feeling drained? Unstuck has a solution. This app can spark motivation and get real advice that works. Here is an app to help you unclutter your negative thoughts and get rid of your daily ruts.

4. Buddhify– it is seen that practicing meditation can significantly reduce anxiety and stress. Buddhify is not your typical meditation app. It allows you to program your meditation towards why you feel anxious.

5. Evernote– do you ever find yourself frustrated because you can’t remember where you put a file or even your to-do list? As they say, “organizational stress can leave your health a mess.” Evernote allows you to have one central place to keep all aspects of your life organized. It works by creating files easy to manage and edit. ex.: To-do lists, meeting notes, contacts, and goals.

6. Simply Being– the primary focus of Simply Being is to take the time to just be. From the creators of Meditation Oasis podcasts, the app gives you an opportunity to take minimal time throughout your day to relax and focus on your mind body and soul. When your mind, body, and soul are in alignment, your health will mirror.

7. Office Yoga– Did you know sitting at a desk all day is the new smoking? But what if your job requires you sit at a desk? Office Yoga allows you to learn poses for daily use at the comfort of your desk. Even the smallest adjustments can even play a major factor in our health. This app teaches practices including healthy posture, breathing, and relieving body tension.

8. Noisli– is a collaborative app to improve focus and productivity. It uses a selection of different sounds to drain out the background noise and allow you to get stuff done. When we feel good about being productive or getting our day’s agenda done, we feel good about ourselves.

9. Headspace– geared to help you train your mind on what your focus is. Thoughts are things, and when we take the time to focus on what we want and not allow random thoughts, we can live a healthier, happier, and more enjoyable life.

Small adjustments, such as; adding a new app to your everyday routine, can make the world of difference. Even though all of these apps may not traditionally be for health and wellness, they all have the potential to make a difference with your health by helping declutter and align your life!
